[THOUGHTS]
There was a time I had that dog, one meant to be a faithful guardian, a protector of the watch.
Yet, as time unfolded, that dog stole something far more precious than minutes or hours—it stole my soul, weaving its presence into the fabric of my everyday being.
My spirit welcomed a new rhythm when that dog, a loyal companion, entered that life of mine.
That dog was always intended to stand a guardian's watch, to be a sentinel, but deep down, I knew he was much more than that. In truth, that dog was meant to be a companion, a quiet presence to soothe the restlessness of an old soul like mine. With him by my side, I found the calm to compose these words, these fragments of poetry, the way I do—just for you.
Now, as time has passed the memory of that dog still lingers as he watches over this old poet. His spirit is a presence that caresses my reflections as I scribble words and craft these verses that I sometime do —just for you.
That dog, a steadfast companion and guardian of my soul, carries within his remembrance the echoes of bygone days—a silent keeper of memories that are a lingering presence from the afterlife.
[INSPIRATION]
"You think those dogs will not be in heaven! I tell you they will be there long before any of us."
— Robert Louis Stevenson
