This abuse of mine, seems to always be out there controlling my mind, with a darkness preying on my emotional confidence, devouring my prosperity....

Jus' when I think I'm free from the cruelty, it cultivates itself again feeding on my contentments, cueing itself through mental suggestion that I'm nothing without those insults, nothing without that humiliation, nothing without that manlipunation of my happiness, that I am nothing without that misuse....

Damn...those gaslighten influences, I'm here just tryin' to remember that autonomy that I once enjoyed - somehow hiding those delicate scars revealing a serenity that doesn't reside within me anymore - realizing so little from a peace that never came - conceding a stolen spirit from so long, long ago...

The only person that deserves a special place in your life is someone that never made you feel like you were an option in theirs.

- About The Artwork -

The concept of the work is "abuse"
- psychological violence against a
person with the help of an
emotional swing, humiliation and
suggestion to the victim that they are nothing without the "abuser".

The victim and the abuser are depicted in the process of yet another psychological pressure, where the victim is indoctrinated with something through talking about something. (i.e. Gaslighting)

The victum feels powerless. The abuser literally feeds on them,  breathing in the fear of his victim, creating a vicious circle of "his thier power" ...

I am but a fractured spirit, a warrior amidst the ruins of a life once vivid and whole. Lately, my  ponderance reveals a world that I once knew has now drifted into a distant isolation. The year of anew has summoned a different awakened fatigue, a drain with an unseen weight that now erodes the bonds with all that once mattered. Within this shadowed isolation, I find my sanity quietly devouring, with fragments scattered by illusions of my own making. In those unguarded moments of insecurity, the apparition of my own end ascends with a cruel uncertainty, disturbing the way I yearn to be. I crave nothing more than to resurrect the man I once knew, a warrior of unyielding strength,  passion and resilience. Somewhere, in the endless tides of time, that self worth was been faulted, leaving behind a weakened soul and a tired old man.
