There's a beast who askin' for me by name, sayin' it's time to extinguish that flame...
I was telling him the other night, you might put me to rest, but you're never goin' to take away my pain....
I told him when he comes to harvest my soul, don't matter cause, the future ahead is already dead....
I've been hearing that beast knocking at my door, I've told him once, I told him twice he's already been here before, I explained, it was the wrong time, I told him to take the blame, cause it was not my time to relinquish that flame....
But now, I know what the future ahead bestows, you can put me to rest, but you're never goin' to take away that pain,
cause that beast has already staked claim to my soul, you see, I'm already dead...
