Eyes of a dark poem dancing at midnight under a sultry moon
How they disarmingly mesmerize

The way that gentle smile melts hearts
Numbing souls with that look of otherness, seeing things much too afar, with thoughts of wander
those seductive eyes that hypnotize

No need to apologize to those who dramatize your startling looks and seductive gaze
Cause those eyes mesmerize

~ Writer's Thoughts ~

I started the Valeries Series based on the inspiration from Andrew Wyeth's "The Helga Series". Little did I know that my passion to write about her would present so many opportunities. Just when I thought I have exhausted all my words,  I stumble across another magnificent picture of her.

To me the Valerie Series is very much like a ballet - erotic, beautiful but untouchable. And that's the whole fascination of the dance. It's the erotic silence that's fascinating. It's a love affair that could ever be.

I am but a fractured spirit, a warrior amidst the ruins of a life once vivid and whole. Lately, my  ponderance reveals a world that I once knew has now drifted into a distant isolation. The year of anew has summoned a different awakened fatigue, a drain with an unseen weight that now erodes the bonds with all that once mattered. Within this shadowed isolation, I find my sanity quietly devouring, with fragments scattered by illusions of my own making. In those unguarded moments of insecurity, the apparition of my own end ascends with a cruel uncertainty, disturbing the way I yearn to be. I crave nothing more than to resurrect the man I once knew, a warrior of unyielding strength,  passion and resilience. Somewhere, in the endless tides of time, that self worth was been faulted, leaving behind a weakened soul and a tired old man.
