` Consolation `

` Consolation `

A winter's passing
Suffering in a nightmare
You were supposed to be here
But now I've been abandoned
To comfort without intimacy
Now, I must find solace

I must find a dark reassurance of hope
Cause you were supposed to be here

~ Writer's Note ~

I couldn't be more pleased to start my first Collaboration of 2022, with my dear friend and young aspiring poet @_rpd._ she us a wonderfully gifted young talent that is destined for tremendous success in life. It's always an honor and a humbling experience to write with her.

~ Inspiration ~

Our collaboration effort was based on one of my favorite artist Edvard Munch we chose his 1894 painting
`Consolation`. Our goal was to write  Poem showing both the misery and compassion that can be felt with the dark loss of a loved one. Somehow finding solace in the grieving process with reassurance of hope through intimacy.
