` Silence `

` Silence `

It's like I'm out here all alone with silence consuming me; it's in this moment of lull that my thoughts are their loudest, screaming they exaggerated me to the fringe of obsession

It's the deafening silence that besets me,  As much as I protest it, the darkest recesses overwhelm my thoughts entirely; my words become unclear; I focus on images; when images become distorted, I focus on the serenity of the pure silence

In this noiseless state, free of distraction, free of clamor and judgment, comfortable in this peaceful pause of my silence

At last, it becomes clear in silence that my life has a stillness
