~Writer's Thoughts ~

The artist, Sara As ( @sroo_as16 ) was one of my first follows on Instagram. I have watched her talents blossom and mature with time. Each step of her development has been exciting to witness. I cultivated her with cautious optimism that at some day I could share my ekphrastic impressions of her art with others to appreciate.

This featured piece, `A Pierced Soul ` fascinated me from the beginning. My impression was of a woman gored by the selfish desires of a lover; a hunger that impaled an untangling suffering, siphoning away a love that
penetrated deep within.

"Sara As" is a talented young artist who is self taught and member of the "Artist Join".  She is an incredible artist, whose virtual gallery  gives us a glimpse into a  "Must See" world. Her unique art is  mysteriously thought-provoking, primitive, emotional, and intellectual in all aspects.

` fractured `

I am but a fractured spirit, a warrior amidst the ruins of a life once vivid and whole. Lately, my  ponderance reveals a world that I once knew has now drifted into a distant isolation. The year of anew has summoned a different awakened fatigue, a drain with an unseen weight that now erodes the bonds with all that once mattered. Within this shadowed isolation, I find my sanity quietly devouring, with fragments scattered by illusions of my own making. In those unguarded moments of insecurity, the apparition of my own end ascends with a cruel uncertainty, disturbing the way I yearn to be. I crave nothing more than to resurrect the man I once knew, a warrior of unyielding strength,  passion and resilience. Somewhere, in the endless tides of time, that self worth was been faulted, leaving behind a weakened soul and a tired old man.
