'The Kitchen Window'
As I sit at the kitchen table gazing out the curtain less window, staring into the world beyond the frames of glass for insights and inspiration
I sit quietly reflecting and searching for those words that have escaped my thoughts and scribbles of the pen through the years and it's seasons
that window has been the source of many words shaped and conjured into meaningless excerpts from my mind's aperture
that window empties directly into my soul provoking my art much like the hammer for the carpenter, the oven for the baker, or the knives for the butcher
that window is the tool of my trade season through seasons
that window has guided me through winter snow falls, Robins bringing hope for spring, the summer flower blossoms, the bluster of fall winds with swirling colorful leaves.
for you see that window is the portal into the imagination!
