MY FIRST WYETH ~ Ekphrasticpoery
It was in a gallery I first discovered an artist unknown to me.
Nonnatives to his work, I strolled quietly, speaking in whispers in my mind about the intriguing style of witness.
The images gave a sense of ambiguity, offered mystery, focused on architectural fragments, assigning personalities to the artistic creations.
My mind's eye capturing varying textures, conveying solitude, inducing opaque, forbidding, insulating inferring something hidden just beyond our view.
You see this was my consummation of an unknown artist, I now know as Andrew Wyeth.
